The BSA does not demand any religious affiliation. The scout law does say that a scout is reverent, but it does not specify what religion that scout must be affiliated with, or that a scout be at all religious, just respectful of other religions. The BSA, in fact, offers religious awards for almost every major religion.
The idea that the BSA is anti-gay is also a fallacy. In my many years in the Boy Scouts, I have never been taught that homosexuality is at all wrong. Please learn your facts before you begin to try and debate with me.
I realize that no one will give an inch on this topic, so I suggest that we perhaps give up on the debate entirely. I’d rather agree to disagree than continue disagreeing.
