    1. What is this?
This is not an official MCNSA Book Club (at least not yet!). Here we read books and disscus them over on /r/mcnsabooks. For now we are a closed comunitiy until we get past beta. To join us just msg andreicek ingame or over on reddit.

    2. What do you read?
We read what a host chooses.

    3. Who is a host?
Host is a person, chosen at random, whos job is to choose a month read and to start a discussion.

    4. How many books per month and is there a limit on pages?
We are reading only one book per month. Also there is a limit. You shuldnt choose a book larger than 300 pages.

    5. Are there any points and other stuff?
Yes! Once you start disscusing a book over with fellow redditors you will recive one point per post. At the end of 30 days new hosts are choosen and total points are shown public.

    6. Are there any gifts for top readers?
We are thinking about this one.

    7. Are there any rules?
    Yes!
    – Only the host can create posts (one per book) at sub-reddit.
    – You must behave.
    – No pornography.
    – Choose books in english (older than one year).
    – Respect reading due dates that hosts make.

    8. Can I read the same books in my own language?
Yes. But it has to be the same book.

    9. Do I have to read every single book?
No. If you don’t have the time, or you are not interested in the book you are free to skip the book.

    10. How can I became a host?
    Enter here.

    11. How much time do I have to read the book? When can we start commenting?
You have time as much as a host says. You can start commentng on the last day of reading time. Not sooner (any comments made sooner will be deleted).

I’d like to be a host! I read the classics almost exclusively, so don’t expect light reading for my month!

So, the first host/book is chosen this monday? There’s already been some fledgling conversation on the subreddit, but I’m kind of excited to get officially started!

I’d love to host a month. The books need to be over a year old, right? Or am I reading where there are no words?

While this is setting up, you should go read J-Pod by Douglas Coupland.

Are you down for other book discussion in this sub-forum or should we leave those in Media?

My opinon: let’s bring that in here, make it a bit more active instead of only when we’re towards the end of the month.

I agree. Other book threads are welcome and wanted. But Its nice to have a book per month we all can read. But if you prefere another book, or just want to brag about the books you’ve read its good to post into Book Club, heck this is the place for books. πŸ˜€

tl.dr. Read what ever you want, post, talk, but read with everyone too πŸ˜€

Awesome. I wanted to ask ’cause I didn’t want to be stepping on your toes or anything. I totally agree with Pyro though, since we have a forum for books then all book stuff should go in here.

This book was awesome. Supposedly it’s the first of 10!
